Inception

The three layers of Inception

So there are three layers of Inception.

(Forgive me but this is a late start back. Season 2 of film reviews by John T started today.)

But back to the topic, there are three layers of Inception.

Confusion

The film is a giant puzzle. It’s our mind at its best. For many people the film was hard to understand but amazing. The visual aspects are amazing don’t get me wrong but the film is not only the effects but it’s a film that is at its best when it is understood.

The film has an amazing script and has multiple layers that are fairly simple each layer but put together can boggle your mind.

The actors are next to flawless and the dialogue is witty and humorous.

Second layer

Understanding

If you are someone who gets the film at the pace it follows then you’re amazing and I love you for that but for those less fortunate, it will make sense. Don’t be afraid to ask a friend watching with you. Everyone else in the theater is doing it so go ahead and tell him or her I told you too.  But once you understand the film you can take a step back and enjoy its beauty.

Third Layer

Amazement

The film itself is amazing but the visual effects are nothing short of OMFG!!

It blows you away with the scenes in each layer of the dream. From the high wall crawling, to the amazing snow mobile fights, and building being created with your mind. This is a film that will surely feed your mind visually if you can’t understand it mentally.

In all Inception is, well if I was a 16 year old boy….. THE SHIT!

Go see it in Imax.
