Review:
I did not like this movie at all. I knew I wasn’t going to enjoy it from the previews but I decided to watch it anyway. The main stubble I hate about this film, is the story line. Humans fighting angels and winning? Seriously?! God wants to destroy Earth by sending down his angels to possess humans. How is that destroying them when all they want to do is kill Charlie’s baby? Out of all the pregnant women in the world, why chose a woman who doesn’t even want her baby? Why is it that Micheal thinks the birth of this one child can save humanity when there’s a child born every minute? By watching this film, there is no way the writers (Peter Schink and Scott Charles Stewart) and director (Scott Charles Stewart) can pass those creatures off as angels. Reason, there is a part in the film where a man is taken by the possessed and hanged outside on an UPSIDE down CROSS! Upside down cross means Antichrist. Terrible, terrible job on the concepts and story. Then in the end, after Micheal told God He was wrong, Micheal still returned with new wings saying that he basically showed God the right way and He followed. What is that about?! They should have just made up mythological characters, it would not have sucked so much. I would never see this film again. Terrible movie!!!!
I loved the movie legion! There was alot of creativity of the imagry. The special effects were great in respect to the mood and tension of the film. In aspect to the story line im a big fan of the religious “what ifs”. There is a darkside to everything even religion, if demons can possess humans why cant angels?! Paul Bettanys acting was superp in his ability to feel and really show the emotional torment that his character was going through but also the detachment and contempt for humans as well, but helping in the survival of humanity. The movie was dark, full of energy, has religious “what ifs” loved the movie.
