Marvel’s ‘The Avengers’ is made for both the comic book and non-comic book fan
It is action packed and features Captain America, Thor, The Hulk and Iron Man
They’re joined by Black Widow and Hawkeye and together make up the team
S.H.I.E.L.D. assembles them for a mission that’s not as clear as it may seem
An energy cube called a Tesseract has been taken and they must get it back
It was taken by Thor’s brother Loki and he uses it to put Earth under attack
At first, the group doesn’t seem to like each other and they fight with one another
After they realize what’s going on, they band together to defeat Thor’s brother
The dialogue is sprinkled with some funny lines and the action is fast paced
It’s entertaining even if you don’t know about the comics on which they are based
The final fight scene has great special effects as New York City is destroyed
All of their special powers are put to use as the Avengers team gets deployed
I definitely recommend this very good film that has a star-studded cast
With the popularity of these characters many box office records should be passed
