Uh, why was this not a movie that was spoken much of? Following, an instant classic, was one of the first mainstream productions of the Nolan Brothers.
With a short runtime of 70 minutes, Following tells the story of burglars Cobb and The Young Man, who are going through a Pulp Fiction-esque story, and are living lives similar and yet distant to each other. The plot climax and falling action makes this story all the more interesting and gasp-inducing.
The acting was good, and the writing was great, along with the direction, coming both from the fabled “Christopher Nolan” (The Prestige, Batman Begins, Memento).
Buy it, it is only $4 at Big Lots, and let a friend borrow it. It is a good thing to watch if you are bored one day.
