His movies have impacted my life, and no matter what, I’ll always remember them.
A kick-ass soundtrack everytime, with his trademark yellow opening/end credit sequences, it’s hard not to love one of his movies.

amazing list …… i would hve added kill bill vol 1…as first , but still you choose right movies.
I am sorry what makes this a great list. There is no other movies even in the question for Tarrantino top five movies. All that matters is the order. In my opinion you would have to switch the Bastards and Resevior Dogs. Yes Tarrantino has made good movies but only some. I do not give him half the respect others do. But at the same time I was not able to sit through Kill Bill (found that weird and boring. Just not for me I guess).
Tarantino gets most of his respect because he not only writes and directs masterpieces, but his cinematography is near-perfect. So he gets respect mainly because… well… he earned it.
You can call them masterpieces but I would disagree strongly. Pulp Fiction was a masterpiece. Resevoir Dogs a good movie and Inglorious Bastards I would say entertaining and a respectable movie. And Kill Bill not even close to a masterpiece. He has won one oscar and won at the Cannes film festival for Pulp fiction and then was nominated for Inglorious Bastards. Now in no way am I saying that awards mean everything, I am just saying that in my opinion he is not as good as people make him out to be. I do respect Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs and Inglorious Bastards.
I know, but are you weighing in how he filmed the movies? The shots he uses and the editing that is used for the film are amazing, and the fact remains that he is one of the most creative people in the world with a camera.
No not really. I dont really focus on how he filmed it, I care about the final product and the entertainment I gain from watching the film. And yes I do agree with you on that, he is possibly the most creative people in the world with a camera
