Rhyming Review For ‘The Darkest Hour’

‘The Darkest Hour’ is a Sci-fi thriller where mysterious objects fall out of the sky

These ‘things’ are mostly invisible and give off electricity as they pass on by

A couple of Americans going to Russia for business is how the story does start

When the attack occurs they go on the run and try to keep from getting apart

It’s not known why these things attacked earth or what they’ve come to do

They kill all the people in a unique way but have managed to miss a few

These few remaining folks band together and try to help each other survive

They discover some weaknesses of the things and use this to remain alive

This has happened all over the world but only the Moscow events are shown

There is hope for them when other survivors from around the world are known

Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby and Max Minghella are the stars that play the lead roles

If you pay too much attention to the details you’re sure to discover some plot holes

Overall it’s not a bad film and the special effects of how the people die are cool

Don’t expect too much and you might enjoy it and hopefully not think I’m a fool
