Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2 (2011)

Who knew that when J.K. Rowling unleashed the Harry Potter spell unto the world, over ten years ago, that it would become what it is today. Allacross the world people read the books and have watched the movies. All leading up to the final showdown between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2, is the eighth and final film of the Harry Potter film series. Harry’s (Daniel Radcliffe) journey comes to a close, as he and his two friends, Ron Weasley ( Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Waston) hunt down the remaining horcruxs. Only to discover that Harry, himself, is one of the remianing horcruxs. With time running out and Voldemort attack on hogwarts has begun. Harry must hurry to find all four remaining horcruxs before his friends and loved ones suffer from Voldemort’s evil wrath.

The film crew and designers delivered on Hogwarts final stand. They didn’t hold back on the battle, the destrcution of Hogwarts, or the pure evil that is Voldemort. Seeing the all-out attck from the deatheaters was what i imagine it would be. Destruction and totally chaos. With the last battle between good and evil, keeps you wondering and hoping that the characters you came to care for would survive the battle. With the film being two and a half hours long, it didn’t felt strung out, as some of the other entrys felt in the series. Every scene held action and surprises to keep your attention. After all the chaos and madness that the last two flims presented, series perfectly ended at the place it began. At the station of nine and three-quarters. But with it comes a sadness knowing this is the last time we will get to see the magic world on the big screen.

5/5.

  1. I know this isn’t a perfect review. So please leave any comments and tips on what i did right and wrong.

  2. I agree with the point that the producers weren’t afraid to go all-out with the destruction of Hogwarts. The ending battle scenes and overall “Michael Bay” feeling I got left me breathless.
