Due out in theaters August 5th, 2011 this Sci-Fi/Action-Adventure look at the origins of the apes that would eventually take over the world looks to be very interesting.
Still a little early for too many details but check the trailer out and see for yourself.

IMDb describes the new “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” prequel as:
An origin story set in present day San Francisco, where man’s own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
Starring James Franco, Tom Felton, Andy Serkis, Freida Pinto, and Brian Cox.
it looks like, at some points, they took stills from King Kong and put them in. It looks to be the best Planet of the Apes film possibly ever, though.
