Hello everyone. My name is Shawn and I'm a die hard movie fan from Albuquerque, NM. But I will let you know right now that I am by no means your typical movie goer. Allow me to explain. The typical movie goer will sit down to watch a movie with tunnel vision and a lack of expanded imagination. Their mind only allows them to see a 2 dimensional view of what the film has to offer. In other words, they only look at the obvious. Me on the other hand, when I sit down to watch a film I see it in multi-dimensions. In other words, I look at the not so obvious. I see things that most people don't see; I hear things that most people don't hear; I understand the messages that the director is trying to get across, when most people fail to understand. Which in turn, allows me to experience the true nature and perspective that the film is supposed to offer. A person could of watched a movie 20 times before, but when watching it again with me it's as though he/she is watching it again for the first time. And I feel that this is what makes me a different breed of movie critic. Whether or not it will make me a great movie critic is yet to be seen. But in the mean time I will be at the theater with a bag of buttered popcorn in my hand as I lose myself in the story of another movie.
