-I believe that a movie should entertain, but not primarily. The best movies are multi-dimensional and layered, they are the ones that leave you partially unsatisfied, asking questions long after they have finished and making you feel compelled to delve deeper, so much so that a second viewing is never enough.
If you can predict what is going to happen in a movie, it's almost always not worth watching.
