Film has fascinated me from growing up with the likes of Indiana Jones, Back to the Future and the wonderful Goonies. Growing up with two elder brothers exposed me the sci fi and action films of the 80's and knowing more about Star Trek than the average girl did. With a soft spot for Asian cinema; Akira Kurosawa being my fav all time director, I also love the films of directors 'Tale of Two Sister's' Kim Jee-woon and 'Oldboy's' Park Chan-wook with other notable mentions asian cinema being Battle Royale, Infernal Affairs and Ringu. I love the creativity in movies and films that make you think or just have sheer fun with it. My top 3 movies are Seven Samaurai, Fight Club and Usual Suspects and have lost count the number of times I've watched them, including with commentary. An avid photographer I appreciate the cinematography and vision captured on film. Currently I write movie reviews and articles for a local culture magazine in my spare time. My work includes writing and editing website content. Previously ive worked in marketing and product development editing and approving artwork. Studying English, History and Photography, I love and have continued my writing and photography and want to pursue passionately writing about film.
