“Do you pray?”

“No, I communicate”

“with life”

A 1971 cult classic movie that was WAY ahead of it’s time that I find extremely underrated even now.

The theme of life, death, and war comes into story about a young boy obessed with death meeting an elderly woman, free, who lives by her own set of morals and thinks of the world being full of good intentions. They become friends and eventually into an odd couple, learning about the potential goodness in the world.

It is a dark yet feel-good comedy that will warm your heart and would most likely give ideas on a new outlook on life. Ruth Gordon plays the most adorable little old lady that you will grow on you rather quickly. It’s almost like a Disney movie for adults. It’s so wonderfully warped in a heartwarming way. YOU MUST SEE THIS.
