I Am Number Four stars Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer, Dianna Argon, and Kevin Durand. This Sci-Fi Action/Adventure film transitions from a fun, upbeat beach lined city to a small Ohio town.
“Three are dead. He is number four.” John Smith/Number Four (Pettyfer) is one of the nine alien teenagers who have escaped to Earth from their home planet after it was destroyed. While on Earth, a hostile species of aliens hunt the teens one by one in a numerological order. Number Four is next in line for the hunt. John and his Guardian, Henri (Olyphant) are constantly on the move in order to keep John’s true identity a secret.
I Am Number Four was directed by D.J. Caruso who also directed well known films such as Eagle Eye (2008) and Disturbia (2007). While not the most action packed thriller directed by Caruso, I look forward to seeing more in a possible sequel to I Am Number Four.
