Best Decade for Films

Recently I was talking about which decade has provided us the most high quality films. I would argue that so far the 90s (but I am slightly biased. I am 93 and really haven’t seen too many movies that are earlier than the 90s) has done the best but I would like to hear everybody elses opinions.

Here are popular movies from each decade since the 20’s

1920s-The Big Parade

1930s-(great decade) Gone with the wind, Wizard of Oz, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,

1950s-The Ten Commandments

1960s-Sound of Music, 2001 Space Odyssey, My Fair Lady, Thunderball

1970s-Godfather,Star Wars,Superman, Rocky, Animal House

1980s-E.T, Indiana Jones Trilogy, Episodes 4 and 5 of Star Wars, Back to The Future, Batman

1990s-Titanic, Terminator 2, Sixth Sense, Jurassic Park,Forrest Gump, Lion King, Fight Club

2000s- Avatar, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Shutter Island.

Sorry if i created a bias by having only one or two movies in certain decades.
