This movie had potential, but does not beat out the superior A-team on any front. This is boring and dated material. In fact it is so old it begs to just be replaced immediately. It has a moment or two. However The Expendables needs a real director who can punch some life into it. I hear they are making a part 2; but i have already had my fix. I’ll wait for the sequel on blueray.

This is supposed to be a buddy cop/war movie but it doesn’t thrill or have good comedy. The fun is in watching the cameos but that does not sell a good product. Jason Statham is the only one to root for in this slog down memory lane, and he should’ve stayed home. Jet Li is criminally misused here as well as Dolph Lundgren and Rourke. Top to bottom, total failure. Nothing to see here except the credits folks.

Stallone needed to slap a 3-D label on this fluff to give it some umph!!! Very disappointing. Shame on you Stallone. Try harder!
