Well i gotta come and say it the A-team is a full blown summer blockbuster , its a thrill to the min thrill ride they never stops or lets up on the breaks , i was impressed by all the numerical cliches they could compile into and awesome 2hr bug budget popcorn flick. This is one of those many summer movies that you are looking forward to. Fans of the series may or may not be disappointed i feel like i got my moneys worth , the action is full blown up in your face and at times or in certain films , that may or may not work , but for the A-team thats what makes the movie what it is. It has a same kids , goofy feel to it as it did back in 1983 when it debuted on television , when it made Mr. T a breakout star. Sad to say it but all the rumors are untrue , Mr. T does not make a cameo appearance in the film.
A team moves at a particular fast-moving pace , it makes 2hrs feel like 2mins , but thats exaggerating a little bit , but no its fun, i feel these characters are as c*cky , corky , and lightheaded as they are suppose to be and you know? because there the A team , it its AAAwesome. Now unlike some of the films coming out this month last year , such as the 2nd Transformers film , that was loud and rambunctious , but i hate to admit i found enjoyable , anyway this filmyes can be loud , but also have a message , i love the integrity in the film to get the job done , its a one of a kind thing. The director Joe Carnathan , i think knows what he is doing after the terrible likes of the Smokin Aces film , i did not know how to think of this director taking on this big task of a film , considering the huge fan base you have for this kind of satire , you must appease everyone’s need for an A-Team film , because if you don’t lets just say it could come out to be pretty bad experience for you , but if you are just a hardcore action fan who has never really watch the series (like myself) then this movie should not disappoint but i do think however this is so far the best summer movie so far this season , there have been remarkably good films , Iron Man 2 ,MacGruber , Prince Of Persia. Leave it to June to bring us another blockbuster hit (hopefully) after seeing how well and how bad movies are doing this summer , i can only begin to imagine how much A-Team is gonna gross. The casting here , is actually pretty damn good , there was not one persons character that i did not enjoy , i think Bradley Cooper was brilliant and a good Smart ass , as the wise talking , girlfriend banging Face , and then the psychopath , crazed and obsessed Murdock , played by a very unknown Shartlo Copley whom you may remember from a little movie called District 9?. Then we have the Mr. T take on the B.A Baracus character , played seemingly well here buy a very new Rampage Jackson.
Then last but not least the leader of the crew we got Hannibal Smith played by the great Liam Neeson , i swear he makes movies all the more better (Except clash of the titans) nothing could save that movie , but movies like Taken , Narnia , but now this leading in the most bad ass role i have ever seen him in , theres bullets flying cargo ships exploding , and hot babes all around , this movie is borderline perfect i will say , This movie probably wont go down in History Books , as an icon such as the famous Show , but it does a decent job , and thats what makes it all the more fun. The film starts out we meet Hannibal Smith , who has been taken hostage buy Mexicans and must escape in time so he can rescue Face and get there task force mission down , well luckily and obviously he does it , and soon after we see B.A on the loose stealing cars , and we meet the VAN! that everyone loves , to bad tho i feel in the film we could have had more of the fan , it did not show up as many times as i would believe it would. There trying to stop the smuggling of drugs into the us , and with that being successful they need to make a quick getaway from the guys chasing after them , then we meet Murdock a self-crazed enthused pilot from Hell you could , say , he steals all the line sin this movie , he is the heart and humor of the movie.
After the team completes there mission it has now been 8 years and 80 missions later we see the team relaxing on a air-base where we meet the babe of the film Jessica Biel who plays sossa. Soon later the team is approached by lynch a guy who needs something very important , and asks the team to take on this mission , they accept. But the team does not no what they are in for , after successfully completing the mission all hell breaks loose after the convey they were suppose to be taking back explodes , a truck suppose to be carrying there captain , are burnt to pieces. The A team was set up. After that they are discharged , and sent to maximum security prisons where they do not know as to which they are going , six months have gone buy and well there good old friend lynch wants they out to carry out the mission , and get what he wants back in his hands. Soon after the team does make there escape and is gonna attempt a mission , considering the fact they are wanted fugitives. Thats where the fun really begins , there is tons of action in this movie to please everyone , this movie has so much funny humor , which makes action popcorn flicks such as the movie way more fun then they actually are. I say go out and see the A-team but only if you want to because if your a hardcore fan of the series then i have no idea how you will see this movie in your point of view , all i know is i enjoyed they film , in all its flaws , and actionpacked explosives , like trying to fly a tank , and blowing up aircrafts and saying see ya later mother f***er makes everything the more fun , cast was perfect , energy and flow of the film was good , moved fast which is good and entertaining as hell , just a question? .. don’t you love it when a plan comes together i know in the long run i sure as hell do.
