Comedy Flashback: Step Brothers

This movie, which had some of the most funny lines in film history, is really a must-see for all comedy fans. I think that it is Will Ferrell’s best comedic film simply because he can go apeshit with no consequence, and that John C. Reilly really did great.

Brennan’s (Ferrell) mom (Mary Steenburgen) and Dale’s (Reilly) dad (Richard Jenkins) marry each other. With this marriage, a good bit of baggage comes along that they didn’t want. The 40-year-old men, who still live with their parents, hate each other at first, and hilarity ensues. They only bond after finding that they both have hatred for Brennan’s successful older brother Derek (Adam Scott).

Best Aspects: This movie is funny as hell and is just plain fun.

Bottom Line: A. One of the best comedy movies that you will see.
