Year: 2007 | Introducing: Melonie Diaz, Nicole Vicius and Daniela Sea | Comedy, Drama, Romance |
This movie focus on stuggling Radical Feminist Group to be reconize and be heard all their voices around the world. They make their own website and roaming around the city every night to make their own way of expressing their feelings regarding the right of the women. When one of the member Sadie vandal on the door of Anna’s working place where plastic surger is the specialty to women who would like to enhanced their bodies. Sadie invites Anna on their group meeting if she’s interested. And Anna being heart broken with recent break-up with her girlfriend went to the group meeting which Sadie never expected that she will.
The arrangement of scenes are a bit out of focus and the ideas of the characters seems to be inconsistent. It also came to me that they dont do any good for their group to be recognized with their beliefs as feminist. The war or let’s say the miscommunication always happen within a group and so love affairs go in and out which makes the relationship of the characters get more complicated. As Saddie get involved to Anna where Saddie used to be with Courtney an older woman who makes a living for them both.
The music arrangement went well, the band that performs are women which that should be since they’re in club where feminists meets and linger. Costumes are a bit off it like “ok that’s fine”. The lightning is too dark in some scenes specially when they’re inside the hideout or headquarters as they say. But it’s ok since I think that’s underground.
Overall rating for this movie, well 3 out of 10. Those who would like to know how young people with sexuality issues act, this movie could help though it’s a little off the hook or overacting.
