Constantine (2005)

Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, Water For Elephants (coming 2011)) directed his only good movie with this stellar sci-fi religious frenzy.

The story revolves around John Constantine (Keanu Reeves), who is the figure of justice in the world of the living to the world of the afterlife. Constantine’s job is to deport demons or angels if they break the rules of the world, agreed upon by Satan and God. When Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz) comes to Constantine to help her find out why her sister (also played by Weisz) killed herself, the true mystery starts to happen when the Antichrist rises to Earth.

Best Aspects: Good acting, script, directing and a fantastic plot.

Bottom Line: B+. Not the best movie ever, but it is still a very well done film.
