Movie Sequels

You know as we get older everybody does every year by an age we think to ourselves how were the movies of the past? well I grew up with turtles and of course turtles was AWESOME in theaters to and so was Robocop but that’s another story i’ll write. As we grow up the movies just keep getting worse and worse yes there is a movie that’s great now here and there but come on why are you gonna keep releasing such garbage for us to watch and spend over 9 dollars in 3-d AND THE MOVIE DON’T EVEN LOOK 3-D. I as a customer I love going to midnight showings since there are 0 kids around to listen as they yell it does kill your sleep though. All i’m saying is that the more crap we have to watch in theaters no wonder why piracy is so huge can’t stop that why waste money on drivel just download it simple and yet movie studios just don’t understand any original ideas as well.

This summer we will see what 5 to 7 bombs that’s a terrible movie season so far yet toy story 3 will be the top movie of the summer that i’ll review one day!

  1. I loved this movie because of the romances and the determination of the toys. Although the 3D was not very 3D it was to an extent and I enjoyed watching it. The story line was very good and sad at the end.

  2. Hollywood is interested in what is sure to sell. Summer Blockbusters sell, and they’re usually based on franchises with hundreds of stories to continue adapting(i.e. Comic Book movies). So if making sequels is easier, and a good return is almost guaranteed, then why risk money on new ideas? And the 3-D concept CAN be good. When done right, it adds more depth to the look of a film and can make you feel more engaged in the world. What you’re referring to is 3D that’s post-converted, so it’s not shot to fit 3D, and therefore doesn’t look like it should. Studios do this because, while it may be a last minute thought, it sells better. If you tell people it’s in 3D, they’ll believe you and buy the 3d tickets. To Studios the art doesn’t matter as much as the money, and we shouldn’t hope Producers change their way of thinking, because that will never happen. We should hope that better filmmakers come in, develop a good reputation with the studios(a reputation for making the studios more money), and use that to get new ideas produced.

  3. Yeah as long as people are willing to shell out money to watch 3-d it’s staying for the long haul i’m not to excited about it but movie studios are D:
