Four U.S. Army modern-day superheros and their Colonel, go on secret missions around the World to eliminate terrorists. While on location in Bolivia, everything is set to complete another job by bombing a terrorists camp. Little did they know that children are on location. Despite the order from their superiors to continue the mission, the Losers rush to save them. Things change for the worst, when a tragic event occurs and the Losers must remain in Bolivia because they have to fake their death. After many failed attempts to return to America, they come across a beautiful woman with a promise to get them back to the U.S., in exchange for a dangerous mission. The mission involves taking down a different type of terrorists who has unlimited resources and banks full of money, literally. Do these brave men still have what it takes to save America, again?
Review:
I enjoyed this film. It’s loaded with action and multiple twists that keeps you guessing. I also liked how everything in this movie doesn’t make logical sense, it’s just all about the explosions and gun power. For instance, the beautiful woman and the Colonel get into an intense brawl, only to discover that the woman needs the Losers for a dangerous mission and can return to the U.S. Another is that one of the Losers has a pregnant wife, and in the beginning of the movie she obviously looks about eight months pregnant; but doesn’t have the baby until what appears to be months later. The reason why I say this is that the Loser gets injured and the recovery time is apparently long, yet he makes it to see the birth of his child. Anyhow, I love how each Loser has something special to bring to the team, and without it, there will be an empty void. The special effects were great with real-life destruction of property and people. Such as, a moment when one of the Losers kills two men over one hundred yards away in a high-rise building. I would recommend this movie to the thrill seekers, action junkies, suspense twisters and even the hopeless romantic. This movie has it all!
