Rhyming Review For ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

Christian Bale is back as Batman to complete his trilogy in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
It has a bad guy villain, brings us Catwoman and contains some other cast surprises

The villain in this story is played by Tom Hardy as the character named Bane
Morgan Freeman is back as Lucius Fox and Alfred is again played by Michael Caine

Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon and Catwoman’s role is by Anne Hathaway
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Blake–there are almost too many characters, I must say

The story begins eight years after Batman defeated the Joker and Harvey Dent died
Bruce Wayne, still grieving for Rachel, is living alone in his mansion trying to hide

Bane wants to create a nuclear bomb by stealing a top secret Wayne Industries device
He gets help from a surprising source with a goal to destroy Gotham city at any price

With more of a story and not as much action it’s more like film one than film two
To defeat Bane and save Gotham city Batman returns and does what he needs to do

The story ties up nicely and brings back some plot points from first film of the three
I say it’s as good as the first, a notch below the second but it’s definitely worth a see
