Movie and Film Reviews (MFR) Action,Adventure Clash of the Titans (2010)

Clash of the Titans (2010)

Some films don’t deserve a remake, because they lacked, at their time even, anything to really offer to the movie industry. In my opinion, the original Clash of the Titans was one of those films. I mean, besides some updated graphics, what can a remake really offer us? Not much, it appears.

But that doesn’t mean I hated the film. In fact, quite the contrary. I really enjoyed this film. The acting was solid, the graphics were amazing, and the action was quite entertaining, but I just find myself wondering why it was necessary. The only answer I have is… well, it wasn’t. And I guess it doesn’t really need to be (I mean, if every film that wasn’t necessary to begin with wasn’t made, Uwe Boll would be, thankfully, out of a job).

But, anyways, I digress. Go see the film, yes, but don’t expect something to stimulate your brain. In fact, expect quite the opposite: A film that will numb your brain (but not in the bad way, like say Transformers 2 did). It’s just a decent action film with some cool graphics.

Oh, and one other thing. Don’t waste the money to see it in 3D. You’ll get the same effect if you see it in a normal theater, and you’ll save the extra 3 dollars as well.
