Dear John by Nicholas Sparks was great and thus I believed the movie would be as well. Sadly, I was dissapointed with it. Tim was nothing like I pictured, he was 40!!!!! and Alan who was supposed to be his brother was now his son. The beginning was very short and it got to the rest of the story, but it didn’t quite give you the real effect that the book does. Though I know no movie really does. The only part I really liked about the movie that was different from the book was the ending. An extra scene was added to give you an idea of what happened between Savannah, John and Tim. If I hadn’t have read the book before hand I probably would’ve loved the movie.
Dear John, I’m sorry
