Michael Oher (Aaron) is a troubled teen who has jumped from place to place his whole life. He has an absent father and a troubled mother. Michael ends up having to go to the school gym to find shelter, but Leigh Ann Tuohy (Bullock) finds him walking in the freezing cold, so she takes him in. One night turns into a permanent situation, and Michael finds himself living with a loving family. The Tuohy’s change Michael’s life, and he changes their’s.
This movie was great. It is definitely an unforgettable film that will make me smile every time I see a football game. Bullock did a great job, she threw herself into this role and it really shows. Aaron also showed potential for a rookie actor. If you haven’t seen it I strongly recommend running to the store and purchasing it. This film is definitely one you would want in your collection. It’s one that will put you in tears of sadness, and tears of joy. What really got me was the fact that The Blind Side is based on a true story. It is a truly touching film and it shows you that anyone can be someone’s hero.
