Director: Renny Harlin
Released: March 27, 2009
An action movie through and through. Not many surpises here. I used to be a fan of wrestling back when there was a Ston Cold Steve Austin, but seeing a somewhat familar face with John Cena as the main character in this moive. The story is pretty cut and paste, international terrorist/arms dealer gets caught by the no named cop that was in the right place at the right time. Then breaks out of jail to take his revenge and make a big payoff at the same time. Standard. The scenes were well shot the drama was there and the minimal use of CGI is a nice touch, definitly a Harlin film. Not my normal cup of tea, but I give a 2.5 out of 5.
